US Representative Releases Children's Book

( – Inspired by his concerns about the ongoing battle to win the hearts and minds of children, Texas father and eye doctor Trent Talbot founded Brave Books earlier this year. Noting that it’s time for conservatives to balance the scales, his company launched a monthly series of books to teach conservative values to children ranging in age from 4 to 12. He recently reached out to Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) to author the latest piece.

Crenshaw sat down with Fox News on October 12 to discuss his book, “Fame, Blame, and the Raft of Shame.” The book tackles the subject of the rise of cancel culture. But, as Crenshaw explained, approaching the topic was “kind of tricky” when dealing with children that young. So, he decided to feature several cartoon animals to make his point.

Crenshaw spoke with Fox News about the importance of reaching audiences of all ages. Acknowledging parents’ frustration at current school curriculums, he pointed out that educators have flooded the nation’s schools with “left-wing progressive and woke children’s books.” Still, it’s become increasingly difficult for parents to find children’s products written from an “exclusively conservative” approach.

Fortunately, Crenshaw accepted the offer to contribute the fourth installment to Brave Books’ series. Another contributor to the series includes conservative pundit Ashley St. Clair, who authored a book on gender identity. Meanwhile, conservative activist Elizabeth Johnston wrote about the sanctity of life, and former Navy intelligence officer Jack Posobiec penned a book about capitalism.
