(RepublicanPress.org) – Censorship in Big Tech companies has become a huge topic for debate over the last few months — and now more than ever since the beginning of 2021. Twitter ended up permanently banning Donald Trump shortly after the riots in Washington, DC on January 6; other social media outlets quickly followed suit. Recently, Trump himself commented on the situation.
Donald Trump spoke out about his Twitter ban during an interview with Newsmax TV that aired on Wednesday, February 17. He told host Greg Kelly that he understood that things had become “boring” on Twitter since his departure, stating that millions of users left out of boredom.

It’s just “not the same” as it was before, Trump proclaimed, adding he could certainly “understand” the urge to move on to better things. He continued by saying that he was being “harassed” on Twitter, and that all his content kept getting flagged. As a result, he said he doesn’t want to return to Twitter and left open the possibility of creating his own site.
