Israeli Woman Sues Over Alleged Attack by Secret Service Agent

(RepublicanPress.org) – In July, the Secret Service flew to Israel ahead of a visit by President Joe Biden. While there, an agent was sent back home after an altercation. The alleged victim in the incident is now suing.

On November 21, attorneys for 30-year-old Tamar Ben Haim filed suit against “John Doe” in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. The suit alleges an unnamed, armed Secret Service agent approached the victim on July 12, 2022, while she was walking through an alleyway. The American reportedly started hitting her and didn’t stop until someone pulled him off her.

Further, the filing accuses the US government of trying to hide the identity of the agent in question.

According to a report from The Hill, the Secret Service released a statement after the incident informing the public that an agent was sent back to the US after he was arrested, detained, and released by Israeli authorities.

Over the summer, after the alleged incident, the woman making the accusation told Fox News that she believed America was trying to sweep it under the rug. She said US officials had not contacted her at all to follow up.

What do you think about the allegations levied against the agent?
