(RepublicanPress.org) – President Joe Biden has been in office for fewer than 100 days, and it seems relations with Russia are already falling apart. Earlier this month, Biden imposed sanctions on the country and expelled 10 diplomats. Russia responded in kind, sanctioning 8 US officials and expelling 10 diplomats. Now, President Vladimir Putin is putting the West on notice.
On Wednesday, April 21, Putin issued a stern warning to the West against crossing the “red line” against Russia’s security interests. He stated that Moscow’s response to any meddling would be swift.
🇷🇺 State of the Union sees Putin accusing the West of playing dangerous, hostile games against Russia.
Any foreign power “crossing the red line” with #Russia should expect an “asymmetrical, swift and harsh” response.

Russia will decide whether its red line has been crossed on a case-by-case basis, Putin added. Any nation determined to have done so “will regret their deeds more than they regretted anything for a long time.”
Putin concluded his remarks stating that it would be wrong for anyone to mistake Russia’s “good intentions” for “weakness” or “indifference.” Russia’s response to any foreign interference will be “asymmetrical, quick, and tough.”
With any luck, Biden administration officials will think long and hard about finding ways to improve diplomatic relations with Russia.
