(RepublicanPress.org) – With less than one year to go until the 2024 presidential election, several Republicans are still fighting for a spot on the ticket. Several GOP contenders have participated in live debates to argue their case as to why voters should choose them to win the primary. Of course, the frontrunner in the Republican race, former President Donald Trump, hasn’t been participating in the events, leaving the rest vying for the number two spot. After the last debate, commentators agreed on who was the clear winner, according to The New York Post.
Following the November 8 debate on NBC, a number of political consultants concluded that former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley clearly “led the pack.” They also agreed on the biggest loser of the night — businessman Vivek Ramaswamy — who apparently dug his own grave during the debates going toe to toe with Haley.

When asked by the moderator how he felt about banning TikTok since he uses the app himself, Ramaswamy took a swipe at Haley’s daughter. He said the former South Carolina governor bashed his use of TikTok during the last debate when her own daughter uses the app, adding that she should “take care of [her] family first.” The comment enraged Haley, who quipped, “Leave my daughter out of your voice” before calling Ramaswamy “scum.”
According to the New York Post, Republican consultant Rob Ryan called the attack on Haley’s daughter “stupid,” while Democratic consultant Hank Sheinkopf agreed, adding the move “didn’t work.” The businessman also went after Haley calling her “Dick Cheney in three-inch heels,” to which she responded they were five inches and “ammunition,” not a “fashion statement.”
The individuals quoted by the outlet felt Ramaswamy hurt his campaign, Chris Christie was nothing but comic relief, Tim Scott was forgettable, and Ron DeSantis did nothing to help his campaign. The political commentators suggested the candidates are worried about Haley, and they believe that fear is warranted.
