Pence Accuses Pelosi of Playing “Political Games”

Pence Accuses Pelosi of Playing

( – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Democrats haven’t shown any restraints when trying to discredit and disrupt Donald Trump’s presidency. Now, they’re getting called out.

Members of the Democratic-led House challenged his Electoral College victory in several states on January 6, 2017. They supported the Special Counsel Robert Mueller Russia witch hunt, and when it failed, they voted to impeach the president on charges related to US relations with Ukraine.

The latest attempt by Pelosi and other Democrats was to coerce Vice President Mike Pence into invoking the Constitution’s 25th Amendment so they could remove the president from office this week. However, Pence responded in a letter explaining he wouldn’t bow down to “political games” aimed at stripping the president’s power.

Continuing, he explained that Pelosi herself asserted earlier this year the justification for using the 25th should be based on “science and facts” and not as a means of “punishment or usurpation” (an unlawful seizure of power).

The vice president concluded the letter noting that now is the time for the country to come together and heal, and that he’ll do everything in his power to facilitate that process.
