(RepublicanPress.org) – The incident on Capitol Hill at the beginning of January caused quite a stir in Big Tech. Google and Apple targeted the Conservative social media platform, Parler, and removed it from their app stores later in the month. To top it off, Amazon removed the platform from its hosting services entirely.
Now, Parler is back in a new way. On Monday morning, February 15, Parler’s Interim CEO Mark Meckler announced the company acquired new web hosting services. As of midday, users were able to access the platform using computers and the Parler app.

Best of all, Meckler confirmed the site was here to stay. In his statement, Meckler also said that the team intends to ensure that the platform stay committed to “free speech, privacy and civil dialogue.” The relaunch announcement stated that Parler is no longer reliant on Big Tech to stay up and running, and that people of all viewpoints are welcome to join the platform.
