(RepublicanPress.org) – Social media companies went on a censorship rampage shortly after the January 6 incident at the nation’s capital. They started tossing conservatives from their platforms, including then-President Donald Trump and his friend and My Pillow founder, Mike Lindell. However, Lindell’s latest venture is pushing back against Silicon Valley’s dominance of the internet.
On March 31, The Epoch Times published an interview with Lindell about his new social media platform’s highly anticipated launch. Officially dubbed Frank, the site has a live landing page, but the platform isn’t operational yet. You can also watch him talking to CBN about the project in the clip below.
Lindell told The Epoch Times he hopes to get the site launched as early as April 5 and no later than the 12th. According to him, the platform “will handle” as many as “a billion” users. “I don’t think that’s exaggerated,” he added. He also promised it would be “the safest [most] secure platform” available. He says he built it to withstand cyberattacks.
Donald Trump has also indicated an interest in starting a social media platform. Will the two of them compete against each other? Work together? Inquiring minds want to know!
