(RepublicanPress.org) – If polls are any indication, the Democrats leading our country are in a world of trouble. President Joe Biden’s approval rating has decreased since he took office amid the border crisis, inflation, and his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, a new survey shows California voters are no longer standing behind Vice President Kamala Harris like they once did, either.
From March 29 to April 5, the Los Angeles Times, in conjunction with the Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies, surveyed nearly 9,000 residents in the Golden State and the results are worse for Harris than they were just two months ago. Only 35% of those polled are happy with the vice president’s performance, a 3% drop from the last survey. In the San Francisco Bay area, where Harris grew up and later served as district attorney, she only has a 38% favorability rating.
Voters like how President Biden handled the Ukraine war but not inflation, and his standing is middling in California. Kamala Harris fares less well.https://t.co/0xJvIgG8kz

President Joe Biden fared a bit better with a 50% favorability rating. However, it’s not all good news for the commander-in-chief, either. In matters of the economy and skyrocketing inflation, only 34% approve of his handling of the downward spiral and that number drops to 21% when the results narrow down to voters in the 18 to 29 age bracket.
These results suggest that even once-supporters of the VP are becoming disillusioned. Despite Biden polling high in California, a notoriously blue state, could his overall rating could signal a red wave this fall?
