Kevin Spacey Order To Hand Over MILLIONS – Massive Ruling Made!
(RepublicanPress.org) – In 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused previous “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey of sexual misconduct, which started a barrage of accusations that would eventually end with Spacey losing his spot on the hit Netflix series. A Los Angeles Country Superior Court judge recently confirmed a nearly $31 million assessment against the actor.
MRC, the film production company that produced the Netflix series, filed a lawsuit against Spacey for the turmoil surrounding the accusations and its impact on the program. For instance, it claimed its writers had to rewrite the last season due to Spacey’s abrupt departure and eventually had to cancel the series altogether.
An arbitrator ordered Spacey to pay the multi-million dollar award in October 2020 for breaching MRC’s sexual harassment policy. In November 2021, a Los Angeles judge confirmed the order, and Spacey’s lawyers filed an appeal.

Spacey’s legal team argued that the arbitrator overstepped evidentiary boundaries. However, LA Superior Court Judge Mel Recana disagreed and ruled that the actor has to pay the lump sum to MRC. According to a report from BBC News, the payment includes about $29.5 million in damages and $1.5 million in additional fees.
The monetary damages aren’t Spacey’s only problem. He’s also facing a rape charge and multiple charges of sexual assault in London — two from 2005, one from 2008, and one from 2013.
The “Seven” star maintains his innocence but will have to stand trial across the pond next year.
