Inmate Attacked Under Same Warden Who Presided Over Epstein

( – In August 2019, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein died in a federal detention center in Manhattan while awaiting trial on new charges involving the trafficking of minors. The medical examiner eventually ruled his death a suicide, but details also emerged showing highly questionable practices by corrections personnel. A new report indicates that lightning may have stricken twice, at least when it comes to the former warden of that facility.

The US Bureau of Prisons (BOP) unceremoniously removed Lamine N’Diaye as head of the Metropolitan Correctional Center shortly after Epstein’s death. However, in early April, the BOP appointed N’Diaye as acting warden at the Federal Correctional Institute, Fort Dix, in New Jersey.

Then, on November 5, the unimaginable happened, and an inmate suffered a gruesome injury while under N’Diaye’s watch. Three individuals privy to information regarding the incident told reporters that a 27-year-old inmate sustained a stab wound to the eye after another inmate attacked him. As of November 17, the inmate was still in the hospital expected to survive his injuries.

One has to wonder how N’Diaye ended up serving as a warden in another BOP facility. The FBI already uncovered evidence of sleeping guards, faulty security cameras, and other grave oversights during his tenure in Manhattan.
