Google Refuses to Donate to Congress Members Who Voted Against Certifying Election

(RepublicanPress.org) – There’s no disputing the fact that Big Tech has been throttling conservative voices on their platforms. Donald Trump Jr. called them out for censoring information regarding the FBI probe into Hunter Biden’s laptop in the weeks leading up to the 2020 presidential election. Over the last few weeks, major social media companies have spent ample time banning conservative groups and individuals. Twitter even booted Trump from its platform entirely. Now, Google is taking it a step further.

The tech giant made an announcement on January 25, 2021. Its political action committee would suspend making donations to any House or Senate member who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory. Other companies like Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft are considering taking similar action regarding future campaign donations.

Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on Big Tech’s censorship on Twitter.

It’s bad enough that Google and other tech companies interfered in the 2020 presidential election through their censorship efforts. Now, it appears they are trying to skew the 2022 midterms against conservatives, as well.
