Ghislaine Maxwell Finally SENTENCED – Her Fate Has Been Revealed

( – In December 2021, a jury convicted British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of procuring and trafficking multiple minors for Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse. On June 28, Judge Alison Nathan sentenced her to 20 years in prison for her crimes. The court wanted to send a message that anyone committing such crimes would pay for their misdeeds.

The guilty party will also have to pay a fine in the amount of $750,000.

During the hearing, the judge allowed some of the victims to read impact statements before the court. Maxwell reportedly did not look at the four women as they spoke about their experience and how it drastically affected their lives. The victims described in excruciating detail the effects they still suffer to this day, from panic attacks and nightmares to the inability to trust their own instincts.

Although Maxwell said she was sorry, she was accused of taking little responsibility during sentencing, shifting most of the blame to Epstein and his ability to manipulate those around him.

Accuser Sarah Ransome spoke to reporters after the sentencing to say Maxwell’s pseudo apology means nothing. Another victim, Elizabeth Stein, said the defendant’s voice made her uncomfortable in the courtroom, and she had to remind herself that she was now safe.

Maxwell’s attorney announced that she plans to appeal.
