Georgia Cop Busted During Undercover Sting

Undercover STING Operation – Look Who They Caught

( – Police officers put their lives on the line every day to protect the American public from harm by upholding the law. Sometimes, however, authorities find criminals amongst their brothers in blue. On September 1, cops in Polk County, Florida, arrested Cartersville Deputy Police Chief Jason DiPrima from Georgia for soliciting a prostitute.

According to authorities, the chief responded to an escort ad while attending a workshop in The Sunshine State. Unbeknownst to him, the person he contacted was an undercover police detective, and the advertisement was part of a sting operation.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd held a press conference after the arrest, giving details of the operation and the crime.

Police said DiPrima asked about the escort’s rate, agreeing to meet her for sex. The chief drove up in an undercover cruiser, of all things, and handed the detective “$180 and a multi-pack of White Claw,” an alcoholic drink. After he paid, the cop arrested the perpetrator.

Judd said DiPrima also previously had an interaction with another prostitute who scammed him out of $200 before their meetup. The sheriff was obviously taken aback by the chief’s conduct, rhetorically asking, “What are you thinking?”

DiPrima was processed and released on a $500 bond. On September 8, the suspect resigned from his position at the police department in The Peach State.
