(RepublicanPress.org) – Donald Trump may have exited the White House, but he hasn’t left the hearts and minds of Americans. Appreciation for his peace efforts in the Middle East has led to several Nobel Peace Prize nominations from European leaders. All of his efforts are leading to recognition at home, too.
City leaders in the Central Florida town of Frostproof issued a proclamation declaring the first week of February “Donald J. Trump Week.” Republican state Rep. Anthony Sabatini (FL) spoke in favor of the idea at the town hall meeting after becoming a bit of a local hero. Sabatini also proposed the renaming of a nearby US highway to “President Donald J. Trump Highway.”
Proud to play a role in supporting this common sense, bi-partisan designation honoring the best president since Calvin Coolidge https://t.co/5Kfqc2oH0o

The proclamation honors Trump for creating millions of new jobs, achieving record unemployment figures, bringing troops home, and avoiding engaging in any new wars during his time in office. It also noted that Trump received more than 76% of the vote in Frostproof and received more nationwide votes than any sitting president in US history during the 2020 presidential election.
Calvin Coolidge’s biographer wrote that he represented the “spirit and hope” of working-class Americans. The same could be said about Donald Trump — and then some. It’s good to see him getting the recognition he rightly deserves.
