(RepublicanPress.org) – Sex trafficking is a global problem that generates billions of dollars every year for criminal organizations. The United States isn’t exempt from the issue. And the City of Spokane Police Department (SPD) revealed it could be the reason for a recent murder.
On Monday, November 1, SPD announced the arrest of 60-year-old John Eisenman for the first-degree murder of an unnamed 19-year-old man. Patrol officers discovered the victim’s body in the trunk of a car on October 22 after responding to a complaint about a foul odor coming from an abandoned car.
Investigators from the SPD’s Major Crimes Unit identified the remains as Eisenman’s daughter’s boyfriend, and allegations regarding the victim’s activity and eventual murder were soon revealed.
According to major crimes detectives, Eisenman learned in October 2020 that the victim may have sold his underage daughter to a sex-trafficking gang operating in the Seattle area. Fortunately, Eisenman did manage to locate and rescue his daughter.

In November 2020, Eisenman reportedly discovered the victim’s whereabouts. Allegedly, he waited for the victim and confronted him. Then, he abducted him, tied him up, and placed him in the trunk of a car.
Eisenman subsequently murdered the man and drove the car to a remote area in North Spokane, where he eventually abandoned it with the body still inside the trunk. Another unnamed person retrieved the vehicle and relocated it to the Spokane city limits, where police ultimately found it. However, the SPD reported that they didn’t think the individual knew the vehicle’s trunk contained a body.
The SPD reported that Eisenman didn’t have a history of violence or criminal activity. The investigation is ongoing.
