(RepublicanPress.org) – New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) released the long-awaited report detailing the finding of the five-month investigation into allegations that Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) sexually harassed/assaulted several current and former state employees. Of additional concern are disturbing accusations against the governor’s brother, Chris Cuomo, which lie buried deep within the report and its exhibits.
The Washington Post first reported concerns about the conflict of interest created by Chris Cuomo’s close ties to his brother and his employment as a CNN host in a May 20 report. The WAPO report claimed Chris was advising his brother how to respond to the mounting harassment claims.
As it turns out, this week’s AG report confirms that information. The CNN host’s name appeared four times in the 165-page attorney generals’ report, mainly for his alleged efforts to advise Gov. Cuomo how to downplay the accusations.

Additionally, an email by Chris Cuomo is attached as “Exhibit 70” to the report. The message appeared to walk the governor through downplaying the allegations by characterizing his actions as part of an effort to “add some levity and banter” to the serious work conducted out of the governor’s office.
Could this land CNN in hot water? Perhaps. But if the lack of significant blowback for the network’s inaction regarding the May revelations is any indication, the media giant will likely shrug the latest allegations aside and move on to other matters.
