(RepublicanPress.org) – They were warned. Yet, millions of people voted for Joe Biden for president. He hasn’t been in office a full week, and he’s already initiated new policies and signed many executive orders that could American jobs and hit consumers in the pocketbook.
Former President Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at lowering the prices of prescription medications, including insulin and epinephrine, on July 24, 2020.
However, on January 20, Biden’s first day in office, his chief of staff Ronald Klain issued a memorandum directing the heads of all executive departments and agencies to place a 60-day freeze on any new regulations pending review by Biden administration officials.
Trump’s executive order regarding medications got caught up in that ill-constructed order. As shown in the below Tweet from John Cardillo, Biden has already earned himself a fair share of critics for his recent actions.
In only 48 hours, Biden:
– Killed around 50,000 jobs
– Made us less energy independent
– Committed $2 trillion to climate change nonsense
– Admitted he has no COVID plan
– Increased the price of insulin and epinephrine
– Invaded Syria#AmericaLast— John Cardillo (@johncardillo) January 22, 2021
The new insulin and epinephrine regulation was originally slated to go into effect on January 22. Now, it’s been unnecessarily delayed by the Biden administration until at least March 22.
Particularly concerning is the fact that there is no guarantee the Biden administration will approve the order, which means hard-working Americans could lose those designated protections regarding the cost of insulin and epinephrine.
