Biden Makes OUTRAGEOUS Claim About John McCain – Can You Believe This?
(RepublicanPress.org) – President Joe Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to several individuals on July 7, including the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ). Biden reportedly conceded that the two men would “argue like hell on the Senate floor” but claimed he “never said a negative thing” about McCain. However, he had plenty of unfavorable things to say about the former senator during the 2008 presidential campaign.
For example, On October 8, 2008, NBC News reported that Biden spoke out against McCain during a campaign event at the University of Florida’s Sun Dome. Referring to McCain’s longstanding nickname, Biden said he couldn’t call himself a “maverick” when all he ever did was operate as someone else’s “sidekick.”

Biden also accused McCain of flip-flopping, saying voters wanted a “steady hand, leadership… not an angry man, lurching from one position to another.”
On the flip side, McCain famously defended his opponent, then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama at a town hall meeting in Lakeville, Minnesota, two days later on October 10, 2008.
A man in the audience equated Obama with domestic terrorism and a woman said she didn’t trust Obama and called him an “Arab.” McCain came to Obama’s defense in both instances, calling his opponent, “a decent family man… that I happened to have disagreements with on fundamental issues… He’s not an Arab.”
What do you think about Biden trying to rewrite history?
