Bill Cosby Trial Begins – Here We Go AGAIN!
(RepublicanPress.org) – Numerous women have accused Bill Cosby of heinous sexual abuse over the years. In 2018, a court sentenced the former comedian and actor to serve 3 to 10 years in prison for drugging and sexually abusing Andrea Constand. Cosby was officially released after a Pennsylvania court overturned that conviction in 2021, but now faces yet another trial in a civil sexual assault case involving a woman named Judy Huth.

Huth has accused Cosby of taking her to a Playboy Mansion party in 1975 when she was only 16-years-old. While there, she alleged he made her perform a sex act on him. She also accused the actor of making her drink alcohol as “part of a game” shortly before the two traveled to the party.
Cosby’s lawyers claim that the only evidence Huth holds to prove her case is a picture of the two at the Playboy Mansion. It isn’t yet clear whether the image was captured on the same night or at some other point in time.
Huth originally filed her lawsuit against Cosby in 2014. The actor’s role in the Constand case delayed the trial until just recently; opening arguments began on June 1.
Cosby exercised his Fifth Amendment rights and isn’t expected to be physically present during the trial. The California court handling the case opted not to televise the judicial process but expects to hand down a ruling within 14 days.
A total of 60 women have come forward over the past 15 years to accuse Cosby of sexual assault. He has denied all of the claims.
